Advanced brain dysfunction: specific responses to social behavioral disorders

I'm Aoi Hashima , an occupational therapist working in Saga Sumai and Fukuoka.

Yesterday, we talked about social behavioral disorders that arise in behavior.

I am Aoi Hashima, an occupational therapist working in Saga Sumai and Fukuoka. In this blog, I've been discussing advanced brain dysfunctions that people struggle to understand or notice. "High…

For behavioral social behavioral disorders, people around them notice a "panic state" or "emotional out-of-control state."

If you think a disability in your behavior could be an "SOS signal", I think you can see what's wrong with the person.

This time, I want to give an example of how I deal with social behavior disorder.

when you are depressed

when you are depressed

✔️ I can't relax because my environment is noisy

✔️ I can't do what I want

I interpret it as a sign that I am in trouble.

Here's what I do when I see this person feeling down.

□ Move to a quieter place

□ Go to a quiet place together and take a deep breath

□ Identify what you wanted to do but couldn't do, and what you are confused about

when you keep repeating the same thing

when you keep repeating the same thing

✔️ Feeling anxious and nervous

✔️ I can't handle the problem I want to solve

I think it's an "SOS signal", eg.

From my perspective, here's what I do when I find out that this person keeps repeating the same thing.

□ When you are looking for something

・Check what you are looking for

・Find what you want together

・Keep frequently used items in the same place

□ When walking up and down the hallway

・Check if you are having trouble doing something

・Check for any concerns

What do you think you shouldn't do to the things that show up in your behavior

From the perspective of people around me, there are things that people with higher brain dysfunction think they shouldn't be doing show up in their behavior.

✔️Be careful not to act without asking why

✔️ Throwing negative words without checking the reason

Suppose you say to an irritated person, "Please stop being irritated."

You may not even know why you're angry, but you're probably even more angry when people around you say negative things.

You may panic.

Responses aren't always perfect, but when something comes up in your behavior, I think it's an "SOS signal" and I think it's important to explore the context of your behavior.

At the end

This time, I wrote about specific responses to behaviors that manifested as social behavioral disorders.

I would be grateful if you could help me.
